Family Devotion Planner

Build a simple plan your household can actually complete. Choose the schedule and focus; receive Scripture, one question, one practice, and one prayer for each day.

Your family plan

Character
  1. Day 1

    Courage

    Read: Joshua 1:1–9

Ask: What does God tell Joshua to remember when he is afraid?

Practice: Name one right thing you need courage to do.

Pray: Ask God to make this truth visible in your household.

  2. Day 2

    Truth

    Read: Ephesians 4:25–32

Ask: Why does truth matter inside a family?

Practice: Correct one exaggeration or half-truth today.

Pray: Ask God to make this truth visible in your household.

  3. Day 3

    Self-control

    Read: Proverbs 25:28; Galatians 5:22–23

Ask: What happens when our desires govern us?

Practice: Practice stopping before one impulsive choice.

Pray: Ask God to make this truth visible in your household.

  4. Day 4

    Humility

    Read: Philippians 2:1–11

Ask: How did Jesus use his greatness?

Practice: Serve someone without announcing it.

Pray: Ask God to make this truth visible in your household.

  5. Day 5

    Diligence

    Read: Colossians 3:17, 23–24

Ask: How can ordinary work become service to God?

Practice: Finish one neglected responsibility well.

Pray: Ask God to make this truth visible in your household.

Keep it simple

How to lead family devotions

Read the passage aloud, ask the supplied question, let every willing person answer, and end with a short prayer. Consistency matters more than length. If a conversation becomes fruitful, follow it. If everyone is tired, finish in five minutes and return tomorrow.

Designed for ordinary households

No account is required, and the plan is free. Adjust the language for your children’s ages. The goal is not to reproduce a church service at home; it is to make attention to God’s Word a normal feature of family life.
