Our standard
What makes a Men of the Republic source accountable?
An accountable source tells readers who produced it, what kind of work it is, how its claims were reached, what its limits are, and how errors will be corrected.
These standards are a public commitment, not proof that every page is error-free. Readers are encouraged to inspect sources and report material problems.

Label the kind of work
Essays express interpretation and argument. Reference resources organize source material. Research reports describe collected evidence. Each type is labeled and should not be mistaken for another.
Make claims inspectable
Original references, source links, field dates, inclusion rules, and material limitations are published when they affect a conclusion.
Handle Scripture in context
Short references or quotations support navigation and analysis but do not replace reading the surrounding passage. Synthetic definitions are identified as interpretations rather than presented as Bible quotations.
Separate findings from application
Research reports distinguish what respondents said, what the data can support, what the sample cannot represent, and what theological or practical interpretation the publisher draws from it.
Avoid fabricated authority
The site does not invent credentials, endorsements, expert quotations, statistics, respondents, citations, or pastoral approval.
Protect research participants
Survey reporting is aggregate. Direct identifiers are not requested in the 2026 study, and small demographic cells are suppressed when disclosure risk outweighs analytical value.
AI assistance
How AI may be used
AI tools may assist with research discovery, organization, drafting, editing, data processing, structured markup, and production. AI output is not treated as a source merely because a model produced it.
The named author or publisher remains accountable for the published result. Material factual claims require inspectable support; quotations, statistics, credentials, and findings may not be invented. Survey responses and results will not be fabricated to accelerate publication.
Commercial separation
How books are disclosed
Men of the Republic is connected to books sold by The Republic Series. Book links may create direct commercial benefit for Republic LLC and are presented as publisher links.
Participation in research is not conditioned on buying, reviewing, or promoting a book. Study recruitment messages must not disguise a sales request as research participation.
Corrections policy
How to report an error
- Email carlos@therepublicseries.com with the page URL and the specific statement or data point at issue.
- Include a primary source or a clear explanation when possible.
- Material verified errors are corrected on the page. Changes affecting findings, definitions, counts, or interpretation receive a dated correction note.
- Minor spelling, formatting, and broken-link repairs may be made without a correction note when they do not change meaning.
Public corrections log: No material corrections have been recorded since this policy became effective on July 20, 2026.
Reuse and citation
Link to the exact source
Citations should link to the canonical page containing the claim, method, or dataset—not merely to the homepage. Resource-specific licenses and suggested citations govern reuse. Unless a page states otherwise, ordinary copyright applies.
