Purpose

What is this study asking?

The study asks where Christian men feel well formed, where they feel underprepared, and which practices and relationships help them carry responsibility faithfully.

The project is descriptive, not a test of spiritual worth. It does not ask about political parties and will not be used to rank denominations.

Editorial, AI, and corrections policy

  1. Eligibility: men age 18 or older who presently identify as Christian.
  2. Sampling: open voluntary recruitment through churches, ministries, newsletters, and direct sharing. Because this is not a probability sample, results will not be generalized to all Christian men.
  3. Reporting threshold: no findings report until at least 100 eligible responses are collected.
  4. Analysis: report response counts and percentages for each closed question; compare broad groups only when each reported cell contains at least five responses.
  5. Privacy: collect no name, email, church name, address, employer, or political affiliation in the survey. Quotations from open responses will be lightly redacted if they contain identifying details.
  6. Completeness: publish the full questionnaire, sample description, field dates, exclusions, limitations, and eligible results—including findings that challenge the project’s expectations.

Study questions

Who may participate?

Men age 18 or older who presently identify as Christian may participate. Responses that do not meet both criteria will not be included in the primary analysis.

Is the survey anonymous?

The questionnaire does not ask for a name, email address, street address, employer, church name, or political affiliation. Responses are reported only in aggregate.

Is this a representative poll of all Christian men?

No. This is an open, voluntary convenience sample. The report will describe its respondents and limitations and will not present the sample as representative of every Christian man.

When will results be published?

A public report will be prepared after at least 100 eligible responses have been collected. Collection may remain open longer to improve the breadth of the sample.
