Govern Yourself ยท 5/6

Your phone reveals what you reach for when life gets quiet.

Private rule before public influence.

Lesson 5 of 6 in Govern Yourself

The conviction

This lesson is part of the ordered Men of the Republic Formation Path. Private rule before public influence. The aim is not admiration or self-salvation. Christ's finished work is the foundation. This assignment is one practical response to grace already given.

Psalm 46:1
Today's field assignment

Practice the conviction.

Put your phone away for thirty minutes tonight. Bring the fear, loneliness, or restlessness underneath it to God.

Stored privately on this device. No reflection text is transmitted.

Ask an honest question

What do you reach for when you are bored? What do you hide? What does your family receive when you are interrupted? What truth are you avoiding? Which trusted man can ask you about this next week?

A boundary is not salvation. It is one honest way to stop pretending you can serve Christ and a hidden master without consequence.

Bring this into brotherhood

Do not walk unknown.

Send this lesson to one trusted Christian man. Ask him to follow up with you about the assignment, not merely react to the link.
